Our campus provides state-of-the-art facilities including well-equipped laboratories, Central library, sports facilities (Indoor and outdoor), hostel facility, medical facilities, and many more. We also have facilities for extracurricular activities, cultural events, and different student clubs to promote holistic development.
Q4. Does the University provide internship opportunities?
Yes, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University facilitates internship opportunities for students to gain practical exposure and industry experience. The Hall of Residence facilities at SMVDU are designed to provide comfortable and convenient accommodations for students. The University offers separate well-furnished student hostels for boys and girls, ensuring a safe and inclusive living environment. The campus is equipped with CCTV surveillance, security personnel, and emergency response systems. Currently, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University primarily offers on-campus programs. Q8. How are the placements at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University?
SMVDU has a fully-fledged Training & Placement cell consisting of a dedicated team of Student Coordinators, Faculty Coordinators, and Staff members. The Training & Placement Cell assists in Summer Training/Internship and Campus Placements for the students. The T&P Cell actively interacts with each School to provide opportunities for students to improve upon their Soft-Skills including preparation for interviews & Group discussions, public speaking, business communication, and other aspects of personality development.
Q9. Is there any reservation policy for admission at SMVDU?
Yes, SMVDU follows the reservation policy mandated by the Government of India. Reservation of seats is provided for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) categories as per the prevailing norms. Q10. Is there any provision for lateral entry admissions into undergraduate programs at SMVDU?
Yes, SMVDU offers lateral entry admissions for certain undergraduate programs, allowing eligible candidates to directly join the second or third year of the program. Lateral entry admissions are typically available for engineering programs. Candidates seeking lateral entry admission must meet the eligibility criteria specified by the University, which may include completing a diploma or equivalent qualification in the relevant field. Q1. How merit list for admissions in MBA program is prepared?
Merit list is based on valid score of (CAT, 2023/MAT (Sept/. 2023/Dec.2023/Feb.2024/May, 2024/CMAT 2024 along with score obtained in GD/PI in first phase. For vacant seats, score obtained in CUET(PG) 2024 by candidate along with score obtained in GD/PI will be considered. Refer admission Prospectus for any other further information.

Q3. What specializations are offered in MBA program?

Q.5.    What is the minimum eligibility to take admission in Undergraduate Program in Business Administration?
Candidate should have passed 10+2 Examination or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board. Merit list is prepared based on CUET (UG) 2024 scores.
